Every year, I choose a quote to anchor, teach, and guide me. For 2025, Seneca’s words were my compass:

“Happiness is having a clear sense of the path that you are on, not being distracted by the paths that crisscross yours. Especially the footprints of those that are hopelessly lost.” —

Presence emerged as 2025’s quiet miracle—one breath, one needle, one heartfelt connection at a time. Boundaries aren’t walls; they’re the sacred containers that keep my medicine honest, grounded, and deeply human, allowing me to show up fully for my loved ones and patients.

The year’s first half tested every ounce of resolve—studying for my boards amid motherhood, household demands, and the art of saying “no.” It was relentless, but it carved clarity: a wholehearted “yes” to my path ahead. @ravi.jaipaul kept me afloat and kept me sane 🙏🏼

The rhythm shifted to service in the second half of the year @encompasscalgary , my professional sanctuary. I’m profoundly proud to collaborate with such an intelligent, amazing team, witnessing acupuncture restore sleep, ease pain, and reignite vitality—especially for women in menopause, fertility, and beyond.

What lights me up for the year ahead is staying rooted to hold space for those drawn to my medicine. Healing unfolds not in grand gestures, but one courageous appointment at a time.

Hi everyone, thank you so much for being here.
It’s been a while, so I wanted to (re)introduce myself.
👩🏻‍⚕️
My name is Sabina and I’m a Doctor of Acupuncture. It still feels a bit surreal to use the word “doctor,” but I also want to honour the three years of study and dedication it took to get here, and the incredible support of my teachers and community at @cctcma

My path into the healing world began with yoga. I started teaching in Edinburgh 12 years ago with the guidance of my first mentor @lynne_ygh, then moved to London to teach full-time, training in styles like Forrest and Yin yoga that deepened my understanding of the mind–body connection.

In 2021, my Canadian soulmate @ravi.jaipaul and I moved to Calgary while pregnant with our son. Losing him after birth was an unimaginable heartbreak, and I stepped away from social media to be fully with my grief. During that darkness, my acupuncture studies became a quiet lifeline and a way for my mind to move toward healing, one class and clinic shift at a time.

Today, I’m a mum to a beautiful daughter, and my two very different pregnancies have taught me so much about the body, resilience, and growth. These experiences give me the strength and compassion to hold space for others.

In my work, I especially love supporting women through their many seasons: from cycle syncing and painful periods to conception, pregnancy, postpartum and menopause. If you’re navigating any of these chapters, you’re so welcome here. 🤍
